The Ogle County Sheriff’s Office today announced it issued 285 citations during the recent Memorial Day “Click It or Ticket” enforcement period. During the course of the investigation it was determined that a white 2009 Chevrolet Tahoe, operated by a 16-year-old juvenile, was traveling eastbound on E. for a report of a two vehicle accident with injuries. On at 1956 hours, deputies were dispatched to the intersection of E. The enforcement period runs concurrently with IDOT’s media campaign, reminding motorists that “It’s Not a Game” to drive impaired. The “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over,” “Drive High Get a DUI” and “Click It or Ticket” programs are made possible by federal highway safety funds administered by the Illinois Department of Transportation. After investigation, it was determined that a gray Chevrolet sedan, driven by Mark Dunklau, age 61 of Paw Paw, was traveling southbound on North Mulford Road, just north of East Illinois Route 72. On 6/21/22 at approximately 1729 hours, Ogle County Deputies, Monroe Center, Lynn Scott Rock, Stillman Valley and Kirkland Fire/EMS responded to the intersection of East Illinois Route 72 and North Mulford Road for a two vehicle accident with injuries.
